The Role of Creative Thinking Models in Statistics Courses for Elementary School Teacher Education Students at Esa Unggul University

This study aims to examine the role of creative thinking models in Statistics courses for students of the Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD) Study Program at Esa Unggul University. Creative thinking is an important competency that helps students understand statistical concepts procedurally and conceptually. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that creative thinking models increased student engagement, concept exploration, and the ability to develop diverse problem-solving strategies. Consistent implementation of creative thinking models is recommended to support students' higher-order thinking skills.
